Carteret County

Carteret County began programming for the Spring 2019 Empowering Youth and Families Program on February 14th. This was the first family cohort to participate in EYFP in Carteret County. Each family participates in a twelve session program that is designed to strengthen their relationships and empower them to lead community change.  Families also take part in a weekend retreat at Eastern 4-H Center in June, where they learn community action planning and create a vision for opioid misuse prevention in their community.
