Nash County will begin programming for the Spring 2019 Empowering Youth and Families Program in March 2019. Each family will participate in a twelve session program that is designed to strengthen their relationships and empower them to lead community change. Families will also take part in a weekend retreat at the Eastern 4-H Center in June, where they will learn community action planning and create a vision for opioid misuse prevention in their community. Adrienne Williams is the Program Assistant for Nash County EYFP. This is the first family cohort that will participate in EYFP in Nash County.
