Pender County

Pender County

Pender County began programming with Empowering Youth and Families Program in Spring 2020. This was the first family cohort to participate in EYFP in Pender County. Each family participates in a ten session program that is designed to strengthen their relationships and empower them to lead community change. Families also take part in a weekend retreat at Eastern 4-H Center in June, where they learn community action planning and create a vision for opioid misuse prevention in their community.
