4/13/21: Last week, Lee County EYFP had its first week of virtual programming, in collaboration with Pender County EYFP. We started the night with the youth session. Some of the youth were shy and afraid to share. After some games and time warming up, the youth were more receptive, and they ended up being quick to share and bond over a mutual interest. They enjoyed the time spent with candy and fun.
Following the youth session, our caregivers were able to talk about changes their youth go through. They were able to have transparent moments that allowed them to learn more ways to help with their youth’s development. They mentioned how excited they are about the program and the changes it could bring to their family and community.
EYFP is a great program for everyone! Stay tuned to learn more about the families that are going through the program and events that you can be involved in.
