11/24/20: I want to take this opportunity to introduce Bandana’s Bar and Grill in Burgaw, NC. Bandana’s has been fixing our EYFP family meals since the beginning of our program in Pender County. Their food is delicious and the service has been impeccable.
Bandana’s opened in August of 2010 by Cynthia and Tony Fontana. Tony’s dad had owned a restaurant in the Buffalo, NY area so Cynthia said that it just made sense for them to open one down here in eastern NC. There was a waitress who originally worked for them when they first opened the restaurant who had known Tony for a very long time. When she was younger, instead of calling Tony by his last name Fontana, she called him Tony Bandana. That name stuck and the restaurant became Bandana’s.
Bandana’s is dedicated to serving EYFP. Thank you, Bandanas, for your service and we look forward to working with you in the future.
