10/26/20: Nash County EYFP did team building with NC State Extension. It was a great way to spend time. We are sharing our creative side at Nash County Cooperative Extension with a team building exercise. As a part of the challenge each participant had to create a decorated pumpkin for Halloween.

To decorate our pumpkin entries, we could choose to either carve or paint it. Along with the pumpkin, a QR code was generated to highlight the participant or share program information. The entries will be judged and the winner will receive a prize. There was so much hidden talent in our office! I thought all the entries were amazing, not a single one of them was the same as another.

The staff members, just like Extension, have a great deal to share. There are many programs offered that touch many different areas in the Nash community. Our pumpkins are currently on display in the Nash County Agriculture Center at 1006 Eastern Avenue, Nashville, NC 27856 for everyone to see. Come check us out and see if you can pick the winner. You can also take a closer look at Extension and see what else we have to offer.

The share QR code with my entry leads to more information about Empowering Youth and Families Program and joining.
