05/01/20: With the arrival of the summer season, youth are wrapping up the school year. However, there are still opportunities for youth engagement and learning amidst the summer fun. While large gatherings are on hold, NC 4-H has created an array of virtual summer programs in which all ages can participate and which are open for all to enjoy. From exploring the outdoors and learning about local wildlife to sewing and cooking healthy foods, there are a multitude of options to keep everyone busy and growing during the summer months. Some programs are self-paced while others will meet the same time, once a week throughout the month.
A link will be provided below to explore NC 4-H’s virtual programming options, see which programs are open presently, and sign up to participate. Allow youth to find their spark, have fun and learn by doing!
