02/13/20 Week B: Youth and parents both discussed their daily activities. The youth deciphered which activities were positive and which ones were negative (stressors). Pointing out the negative stressors in their daily routine and learning how to effectively deal with them can help lead to a healthy life.
Families came together at the end and discussed how to deal with the negative moments in their lives.
We did a stress reduction exercise where families practiced breathing techniques and other useful methods that can alleviate stress. We were blessed by the presence of Anne Greenaway, who observed the youth and family sessions.
