03/05/20: This was part 2 of our EYFP community event. The Community Resiliency Model (CRM) trains community members not only to help themselves but to help others within their wider social network. The primary focus of this skills-based stabilization program is to re-set the natural balance of the nervous system.

This was a free certification program with light hors d’oeuvres served. 30 people attended. The training was facilitated by Lauren Clark; Program Integration Coordinator, CRM trainer and Jesse Hardin; Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Coordinator, CRM training from Community Care of the Lower Cape Fear. They trained people to understand their nervous system and track sensations connected to their own well being which is Resilience.

All present filled out the surveys and were very positive about the training and how well it was presented.
