05/25/20: The summer season is just around the corner, with temperatures rising and people starting to venture outdoors a bit more. Lee County Empowering Youth and Family Program (EYFP) PA, Gabrielle Dunlap, is thinking instead of the future of EYFP in the fall season. While their weekly sessions will look a little different to ensure the safety of both participants and facilitators, she is excited to meet up with her families and embrace this new normal. In the meanwhile, Lee County EYFP will be partaking in virtual instruction with 4-H over the summer to bring more awareness to the program and discover alternative ways to teach youth while practicing social distancing. They hope to brainstorm new ways to reach people in their community and provide resources that will help them in everyday life. Gabrielle continues to help keep Lee County’s 4-H Facebook page up to date, sharing highlights and upcoming events within the county. She extends a warm welcome to whomever wishes to join in the fun.
